Mac and Lil’ Bird

Stafford L. (Mac) Bolton, a retired World War II Army Air Corps Fighter Pilot and Flight Instructor, rescued a baby crow and raised it with the help of his wife, Lillian. This is the story of how Lil' Bird grew, and all that Mac learned during their time together.

After Mac first sighted Lil' Bird in the lower branches of a holly tree, he shared, "Almost in an instant I knew there was going to be a strong bond of friendship between us. I cannot describe how, but I knew it was there."

Mac kept a journal, which is now in book form for families and children to enjoy.
