Henry Meets a Honey Pot Ant was born from the mind of the late Betty Tewell during a project for her college course 50 years ago. She put the work into understanding an amazing ant that lives off of itself. Now you and your children can learn about them as well. Henry takes a journey to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado. This journey introduces him to Honey Pot, a honey pot ant, and takes him deep beneath the earth as he learns about honey pot ants and their roles. From a unique perspective, a journey similar to Henry's first journey as a honey bee is brought to life in the deep, cool soil of the colorado desert.
This book is released in honor of the late Betty Tewell who shared her passion with me, Justin Ruger, so that I may help her bring her goal of publishing a book to life.
Half of the proceeds from Henry Meets a Honey Pot Ant will be donated to english as a second language in Betty's honor.
