Margaret Thatcher: The Iron Lady

Margaret Thatcher was Britain's first female prime minister, and one of the country's most formidable leaders. Dubbed 'The Iron Lady' by a Soviet newspaper which meant it as an insult, she adopted the nickname with pride. And indeed, her will was one of iron, as she determinedly set about returning Britain to prosperity and helping to end the Cold War.
