A young girl and her family moved to a new faraway place. They were going to spend Summer in an isolated mansion next to a forest.

As they settled in, a fox entered the family kitchen in the night to steal food.

The roommates of men and boys determined to set up a plan to kill the fox; The girl failed to dissuade them but was permitted to watch the operation.

Surprisingly, the fox swiftly evaded in the dark and the killers ended up hitting themselves.

Since then the girl was able to save the leftover for the fox after dinner and the fox never came back stealing.
