A small town cozy mystery with all the Christmas trimmings and a clean romance.

All isn't merry and bright for Robin Pearce since she moved back to the small town of River Sutton, bought a shabby farmhouse, started a new business and a thrilling new romance with handsome Sheriff Chris Payne, her high school crush.

But she's broke and bills are coming due. With no income and no prospects, Robin agrees to attend her sister Jenn's Christmas party to welcome socialite guests to her new bed-and-breakfast, Cardinal Cottage, thinking she can drum up leads.

Just as Robin suspected, the guests are wealthy and snobby. One of them even picks a fight with Jenn's wife! After plenty of cocktails and a traditional Christmas dinner, the evening finally ends.
