The Good Guy: My Story

Growing up in the hard streets of Miami in the 1980s, Jean finds himself having to fend for himself and his six siblings after some unexpected and unimaginable losses in his early life. After finally navigating himself through high school alone, he heads off to college in the heart of the Midwest where he learns the hard knocks of racism and relationships, embarking on his solo journey to manhood. Fighting to find his grounding in life, Jean supports himself at a clothing sales job where he becomes entangled in a complicated love story, leaving his heart literally broken. This is a story of man striving for good in a mad, bad world, a man whose emotional scars only love could heal.
