The true story of New York City Police Department’s Gary Rosen as told here is a factually accurate account. Beginning in the 1960s, his career with the NYPD included the ‘70s and '80s. From the Police Academy to Patrolman, Undercover Narcotics Officer and ultimately the coveted Gold Shield Detective status he earned, Gary was instrumental in solving notorious crimes of robbery, rape, embezzlement and murder. There were many written commendations and newspaper articles documenting these cases, a number of which are included in this book. Others are available, upon request. Residing now in Florida, Gary has played an active role in several 10-13 Clubs. This is the first publication of his memoir.
