Wherever They Go

A man harbors a deep infatuation with an uninterested woman, a cantankerous elderly neighbor routinely harasses a young mother of three, and two retired football coaches try to make light of a dark situation. Jean White arrives in Charleston, South Carolina, with the intention of living the life she always wanted. For years, she succeeds. She gains an education, works a job she enjoys, and even starts to form friendships. But then, without warning, a series of problematic events wreck havoc on her life causing panic. Once more, she is forced on the road to start anew.

After two years of not hearing from his estranged wife, Willie Doogan realizes what he desperately craves: the love and security he felt when married. But this will never be again. Painfully, he discovers that to truly move forward, he must sever all ties with his past. With a flask full of bourbon, a magazine clipping, and divorce papers, Willie sets out to track his past to start his future.
