This is evident in her exacting attention to word choice and poetic meter while taking on the challenge of formulating contemporary approaches to timeless subjects. It is the first of Alexis Goodfellow’s published literary works, of which there should be more to come. In her view, the works within the collection can be interpreted as poems, scripts, or lyrics in equal measure; she prefers to think of herself as more of a composer and less as a traditional author.
