Little Lord Fauntleroy is a novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It tells the story of Cedric Errol, a kind and charming American boy who unexpectedly learns that he is the heir to a British earldom. He moves to England to live with his wealthy but gruff grandfather, the Earl of Dorincourt, who initially dislikes him but is gradually won over by Cedric's goodness and innocence.
