Art is essential and can inform us about our culture, instill pride, and encourage us to view the world differently. This book is a collaboration between two siblings, one passed and the other present. The illustrator, Garry B. Stewart 1960-1999 resurrected an essence of Primordial African folk/ ritual art in his modern contemporary 3-D Images. He termed his work as "Intellectual, 3-Dimensional, Abstract Art" that stimulates the viewers' sense of discovery. Using an orchestra of vibrant colors, grids, pyramids and celestial forms, Stewart engages the viewers' subconscious and conducts their creative sense beneath symphonies of light to the clarity of a divine order. In this zone there is no congestion, only peace and harmony as communicants discover the enraptured effect of his 3-D artistic expression.
Regardless of the direction you turn or view his art, you will see a different picture often registering an understanding with, "WOW!" Viewers are now soul traveling, visually bounding in another dimension, spiritually and intellectually a common denominator that separates man from beast. Stewart's art appeal is universal and speaks to people of any race, creed, or gender. "Like my spiritual ancestors, I'm on a spiritual mission when I paint. I believe I was commissioned by GOD to share my work worldwide to promote peace, harmony and unity among all people."
THE INTERPRETER, Carl Penn Ancient Rock Art Historian "Through the visions they leave behind, great artisans of African diaspora like the late Garry B. Stewart and his sister Janetta, they will forever speak to inform the generations!"
