The book postulates that under the thin layer of consciousness lies a vast ocean of memories of the past lives in the dark domain of the unconscious. Access to the past life's memories is barricaded by the linear nature of time. Since the brain activities reach a minimal level during the comatose state, by a possible shift of time frequency, the person enters the realm of his past life and relives it like a real phenomenon. After a fatal accident the protagonist of the book enters a comatose state for eleven years. During this period he reaches a different time dimension and relives his past life. After a long haul in the unconscious realm he returns to consciousness with a serious personality shift, his past life's memories shrouding the memories of his current life.
