As artists growing up and kids living in NYC during the crazy 1980s, my previous book dealt with a lot of the motivations we had as kids to do the things we did and express ourselves the way we did. And I started to touch on it a bit in some stories and towards the end when I talked about redemption from the perspective of now looking back.

Since then, I have continued to reflect and have thoughts about how our childhood angst and missteps, deliberate or not, shaped us as human beings and connected to us as people as we got older.

Who did we become?

Surely there had to be some lasting effect to the humans we developed into.
