My Monster

A little girl meets an imaginary friend who is really a goofy, happy-go-lucky monster. When he first comes out of her bedroom closet, his antics sometimes seem like they might get her in trouble ... like the time he goes swimming in her backyard pool and dances around in his swim towel and her big sister's "borrowed" shirt, dripping water all over the floor. But soon her monster keeps her laughing and the two become fast friends at a time when she doesn't really have any at school. What happens when the little girl grows up a little and does make a new friend at school? Will her friendship fade with her monster. .. will he go back into her closet for good? And will she miss him when he's gone?

This is a fun book for children (and their parents!) to enjoy as they, like many little boys and girls, may have similar imaginary friends who keep them company when it's needed most.
