In 2004, during the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Sub-Saharan Africa, Ian Roberts becomes associated with a budding megachurch in North Carolina. As part of their building campaign, they include funds to build an AIDS hospice inside a Black township of South Africa. One Sunday, Ian returns home and sends an email, impulsively volunteering to travel to Africa to help start a business to create jobs and fund the operations of the Hospice. Being a world traveler, his philosophy of acceptance to people of all religions comes under attack by the clergy of his new church. Pastor Anton Nikosi and Ian Roberts enter a symbiotic relationship teaching all involved in this Post-Apartheid environment the meaning of love and respect. And for Ian Roberts, he gains a practical understanding and a deepened faith in God.
