My Summer In Israel

After the events of October 7th, 2023, as many adults were glued to the TV or social media to get constant updates. Children were overshadowed by the news. it was too devastating for them to have witnessed or understand what was going on. We decided to give Isaac, our 7-year-old son, a creative assignment. We asked him to draw and describe his fondest memories from his summer trip to Israel. And this is how this book started. This book describes and illustrates the fun places Isaac has been to from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the foods he ate and the people he met. in addition, this book has fun facts and footnotes that teach not only children but parents as well about the rich history and culture of Israel.
