In the year 2051, the United Nations establish a domed colony on Mars. Three years later, a consolidation of communist nations establish a nearby colony. Due to limited resources, population growth is strictly limited and managed, with reproduction in both colonies being provided solely through surrogates. The fragile peace that is beginning to grow between the two colonies is shattered when a world war breaks out on Earth.
Middle Earth Malaise: In 1937, Adolf Hitler sends a Nazi spy to Oxford University to clandestinely steal a manuscript of The Hobbit from JRR Tolkien before it can be published and quietly assassinate the author. The only person standing in his way is Professor Tolkien's young secretary who is following in love with the handsome assassin.
The Oregon Trail: A family is forced to flee from Kentucky in 1853 for harboring runaway slaves. The father, mother and teenage daughter are fortunate enough to escape from Kentucky by riverboats and join one of the last wagon trains of the summer heading West. The gritty day-by-day adventures, tribulations and tragedies confronted on the trail are vividly told through the daughter's diary entries.
