Kalki, The Shadow is a tale of a famous Hindu mythology character retold in a modern and never-before-imagined form. Set in the early 22nd century (A dystopian timeline), surrounded by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies, the story revolves around the main characters, Hera and Kalki.

The life of Hera, an AI Engineer turns upside down when the Android she creates from her long-lost lover's brain data transforms into Kalki, the Savior, from The Prophecy of Kalki.

She is pushed into the rabbit hole unexpectedly and has to solve the sole mystery that could defeat their enemies. Would she unravel the mystery and help Kalki in winning the war? Would she recover the love that was robbed from her by death?

Transforming from human to android to Kalki is not an easy journey for Kalki. Finally, after finding his true purpose, would he be able to be the saviour everyone wants him to be? Would Kalki win the war within himself first before fighting the war that is going on outside?

The story explores the theme of scientific advancements, the incline of humanity in the imagined future, the consequences of materialistic minds, the complexity of love and the importance of family.
