"Drunken Thoughts" is a collection of poems and musings. Some of it is inspired from real
events and lessons and few are completely fictional but solely based on everyday life. Some
might feel the book is too straightforward, but if somebody dives down into the pages, their
idea might change. Life is a natural process and that's what this book tries to pinpoint. The
irregularity of the writings was purposefully put in because, like our daily life, the book also
doesn't have to be in sync. It can go higher or lower as our thoughts. The purpose of this
book is to uplift the so-called bad phases of Life and to show that few words that you bleed
through ink can heal you up. The book portrays that life is like an uneven road which you
have to cross. Eventually one finds the way to move on and to forgive everything. A few
poems are blunt and heart-wrenching but that's the beauty of it. The writings are the best
collection from the pages of the author's diary. It also gives deep insight into a troubled yet
happy soul for whom Life has a fixed definition. Losing hope is a stinging indictment to society and this book challenges that.
