Explorations (Set of 8)

This action-packed series highlights eight famous journeys that set records and expanded the boundaries of people's knowledge. Each book uses short paragraphs of easy-to-read text to describe one journey's main events and lasting impacts, as well as the dangers and challenges travelers faced. Each book also includes historic images, a table of contents, fast facts, sidebars, comprehension questions, a glossary, an index, and a list of resources for further reading. Apex books have low reading levels (grades 2-3) but are designed for older students, with interest levels of grades 3-7.
