Ruminations of a Rattled Mind is a compilation of poems that show insight into Reilly Nearpass' deepest thoughts, feelings, desires, and disappointments. It can be used as a self-help book for adolescents so that they can learn from her life and know that they are not alone in their struggles. Nearpass' biggest inspiration was the poetry of Rupi Kaur in that her poems may not be long, but they carry the same weight and power of longer poetry.

About the Author Reilly Nearpass was born and raised in Willow Grove, a small town outside of Philadelphia. As a young child, Reilly always had a hard time expressing herself in words, so her family encouraged her to express her emotions through writing. Her passion for writing comes partially from her mother, a freelance writer who works from home, even though she is physically disabled.

Reilly has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a goal to eventually earn a master's in child psychology and counseling. In her free time, she likes to read and run. She has recently acquired an interest in playing guitar, kickboxing and cycling. She also enjoys baking, hiking, and spending time in nature. Her favorite thing, however, is spending time with friends and family.
