When I was in rehab, the counselor showed us a picture; he went around the room and asked everybody what they saw. Everybody saw something different (whatever that they took from it) but we were all wrong. The answer was a picture. People try to read so much into something and be so intelligent that they make something so simple become so hard. That's why my poems are simple and I write simply because I don't want people to try to read more into them than what it is or be amazed at the various words I use. I want a child or even one with very little education to be able to understand what I mean.
