Our story takes place near the present time. Morty Martin is a physicist. After working at CERN and super collider projects, he returns to his job as a technician in the MIT experimental physics labs. He brings with him a pet of sorts. He has captured an electron with unusual behaviors. It may be one half of an entangled pair. It goes through state changes that appear to play a tune when played through a speaker. He names the electron Francis. Morty interprets the electron motions as a dance. Join Morty as he learns the strange truth about Francis and takes advantage of the information that Francis provides. The plot thickens as Morty begins to amass a fortune.
Love, betrayal, intrigue, science, arson, murder, and soft science fiction wind together into a story with a number of surprises. A story of life and ambitions, politics, greed, successes, and failures. A love story. A story of what could have been, what will be, and what is. Characters are sometimes flawed and self-serving. They are sometimes noble, greedy, and adorable.
