Rising Embers

The coven has conquered and survived the centuries, but a new threat has been presented, one that is older than their kind. Odin's darkened curiosity of her has followed her from the bayou to the Tennessee Valley. His mysterious and dark manner never bothered her until fury and innocence collided. Now she trains to master and harness the flame that burns deep within, but she wasn't the only one touched by darkness that day. Deep in the trees, her oldest friend watches her grow, bearing the scars and harboring guilt. Fearful of what she has become, elders force her hand, and she returns to the bayou, where she gets her new start.
