This is Wallace's first book, "That's what my mother said!" which will surely become a best-seller he hails from Miami Florida but has his roots are steeped in the old timey ways which is deep in the heart of Georgia. He has a unique and clever way of storytelling which has it's inspiration coming from a long line of storytellers it draws the reader into the book themselves, it takes them on a full circle journey full of lessons and wisdom which is meant for all, that was born and bred out of house African American households as said by black mother's everywhere and speaks to the little-known dying art form of oral storytelling which is that of the African-American culture and their experiences though oral sayings and stories as passed down from one generation to another.
