The urgencies of our current times are navigated through landscapes such as the Vessel, quarantine, Brooklyn classrooms, and the surreal. The speakers of the poems are near and far, sometimes speaking to the collective and sometimes calling out their audience by name. The subjects range from isolation and loss, to survival and the possibility of recovery. The poems explore what shapes this possibility can take in a diminishing reality where the procession to collapse is often slow and winding.
