THE STORY: In the year 2020 viral invaders arrive in Santa Fe. High school student Calypsa Rioja is rehearsing for the play, Tres Hermanas. Jicarilla Apache and actor Hillerman Studius is trying to obtain financing for directing a film. Jamaican Marley Smith plays with his band, Island Pride, while hotelier Cash Carson is financing the restoration of the Cardinal's Lodge. His son Kane wants to continue football at a major university. Pablo Valenzuela is fueling his reading, running, and writing habits by working in Ft. Carson Park. His mother, hair stylist Julieta Valenzuela has a plethora of clients during the one-month State legislative window. All seems to be going well. That is, until the arrival of a silent visitor. Covid. The country is divided. A disaffected traveler secrets a strange new virus to the high-elevation capital, hoping to effect political change with its release.
