Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (??????) Level 3 test, also known as HSK 3, requires mastering a mix of about 300 Chinese characters and words (??). These are some of most basic, yet the most frequently used Chinese characters. The biggest challenges for the beginners' students of Mandarin Chinese would be to recognize these characters/words in the given contexts. In the HSK Level 3 book series, you will be exposed to all these 300 Chinese characters and words. Each book contains about 30 new Chinese characters/words from the HSK Level 3 test syllabus. There are about 10-15 examples sentences provided for each of these characters and words. The sentences are explained with simplified Chinese characters, pinyin, and English. Each of the books comes with five short essays (??) and stories (??) based on the characters/words introduced in the book. The pinyin and English version of essays, stories are also included for reference. All these HSK Level 3 books are designed for the beginner students of Mandarin Chinese.
