The Longing Pattern

Sonya Rayner is on the verge of a life-changing experience: her internship with a large company. She goes out with friends to have one last splurge before her "adult" life begins. She has a wonderful time. The drinking, the carousing, the random hookup. It has all of the hallmarks of the perfect party. Unfortunately, her hangover includes the revelation that her hook-up was not so random nor was it at all perfect. The random guy is actually her boss and he knows exactly who she is. This is the start of a terrifically intense and exciting internship. From those awkward beginnings, Sonya and Dominic play a terrific game of cat and mouse. Sonya is never really sure which one she is and if she likes the game more than the other player. She doesn't know who really holds the power in this intricately played game.
