The Aspen Tree is a story of how the aspen tree came to have its unique white bark year around. There is beauty in everything, if only one has the right perspective. Readers can come away from the story understanding the beauty and uniqueness of the aspen tree.

About the Author

Bart LaRocca spent his time as a young child growing up in Colorado and has always loved the mountains and the beauty of the aspen trees. He is a 1991 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and has been retired since 2018.

Bart currently lives in Texas with his wife and four kids. When he is not spending time with his family, he is coaching High School and Middle School football and working outside on their ranch. Bart's inspiration for writing this book comes from his memories of often telling this story to his children when they were growing up.
