JD Hyde, having grown up in and around central Texas in a large family of 2 brothers and 5 sisters, was introduced to reading by his first grade teacher, Mrs. Reisinger. Each afternoon during rest-time she would read to the class. Her emphasis on the importance of reading stuck with him his entire life. After retiring from his plumbing business of 45 years, he found the time needed to write his book. The novel is for book lovers who love believable fiction with a big dose of actual events.
