Verdure is a collection of poetry written over a few years with many seasons of life in between. It touches on life experiences that are usually to hard to say out loud, but find a safe space in organized lines and metaphors. The poems are from the life of a young woman navigating love, trauma, mental illness, and everything else that becomes pertinent during the years of emerging from childhood into adulthood.
