Katarina is six years old. She has been caught telling a few tales that aren't true. She tells her parents about animals in her closet and monsters under the bed so that she can spend the night in her parents room and some of them were real whoppers. Katarina didn't seem to be overly frightened when she told these stories so her parents began to get suspicious. They have a discussion with Katarina and discover that she wasn't telling them the truth. They speak to her about telling tales and what it could mean and Katarina promised to try to tell the truth.Katarina goes outside to play one afternoon and sees a monkey peeking at her from a tree. She isn't sure that's what she saw until she creeps a little closer. Sure enough the monkey chatters at her and begins to climb down from the tree. Katarina is a little frightened and runs back into the house to tell her parents. When she explains that she's seen a monkey no one believes her. How will she make her parents realize that she's telling the truth? Together she and Jack come up with a plan to catch the little monkey and show her parents she's been telling the truth all along.
