It follows a chronicle of their family life leading up to the experience of living in Taiwan. Home to amazing national parks that boast mountains, valleys, and other places crammed with fabulous architecture and a rich history, Taiwan has a truly unique beauty.

The year of 1956 marked the beginning to adventures and challenges for the family. However, despite the challenges in adapting to the new way of life, Taiwan offered enough enthusiasm and cherished memories. At first, they were not quite welcome because inequality had formed the foundation for structural racism. However, with time, acceptance and adjustments improved their living. Along the way many people - including Americans, Chinese, and people of other nationalities - provided for an enriching life, lifelong friendships, and positive perspective for mankind.
