This book is a historical nonfiction novel based on the military diary of 86 year old Uncle Bill Spratt who told the story to his wonderful nephew William Thompson. William Thompson was able to record his story to make this book possible. This book has many first hand pictures from his time in WWII including the picture on the back of Bill Spratt shaking hands with General Hodges.
