From Nightmares to Dreams is a story of triumph and discovery. Young Ilene navigates through life on an unimagined journey without any insight as to why her life has turned upside down at age 13. She feels that she has nothing to lose, and Psalm 27 becomes the guide for her life that provides motivation and encouragement while home is not a safe haven, and any positive influences are not allowed. Fear and trauma became a norm for young Ilene and she begins to look for love in all the wrong places; until realizing that God was already loving her through various people and circumstances. As the dreams manifest, young Ilene becomes more aware that her steps are truly ordered by God.
