When a small town gal marries a city guy, the sparks fly and the challenges begin! Marriage is a learning process that takes time. Anyone who has been married knows it's not easy. Sometimes it's testing, but more often gratifying and fun, it is the learning process of getting to know the person you married. In the midst of the ups and downs, often one can find great rewards if they so choose. Pleasantries help immensely! Humor, forgiveness, faith and a list of all the wonderful qualities your spouse offers lightens the load. This is what I pack in my survival kit for a great marriage.
"Marriage is a lot more fun if you can forgive and forget. We can get into a lot of arguments about stuff, but we don't HAVE to, that's a choice." Paul Cole
Marriage is like a dance. Two individuals attempting to move together as one. No matter whether you're dancing the tango, the salsa, or a waltz, both partners must work together as a united pair. If mistakes are made, shins get kicked and toes get stepped on! Similarly, in marriage, both husband and wife must function as one body, allowing the "music" of God's Word to provide both the rhythm and the melody for the steps they must follow. It requires practice, patience, and an unrelenting commitment to the process. Pastor Jeff Poush
This is my story of learning the dance called "marriage". Petra Cole
