Proverbial Leadership

Proverbial Leadership prepares the reader for a lifetime of influence. This devotional examines 60 proverbs essential to leadership. These proverbs search the essence of how we influence our relationships, understand and apply truth, and plan for our future. For 60 days, readers will seek to grow in wisdom by diving deep into the meaning of each proverb and apply those insights into their daily walk with God.

Proverbial Leadership also seeks to excite the reader toward becoming intentional about training their mind to recognize what is true. It will prompt them to be ready to capture false arguments and speak lovingly but forcefully against them. The proverbs are God's training manual for leadership development and the means for us to be equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17).

Mark Vickers served as Assistant Professor of Leadership at the International School of Theology in San Bernardino, California from 1998-2002. He holds Master's degrees in History from Claremont Graduate University and Religious Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Organizations from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has been an organizational consultant and leadership coach for the last 22 years. He specializes in coaching men and women to utilize the proverbs for personal leadership development and discipleship. He lives with his family in Oregon.
