Rooted in love for Jesus and following the life cycle of a crop that is growing in the field, Anja and Tim created these activities together. They let mothers and their children establish faith in God for a firm life foundation, develop courage and persistence in their growth, build strong family connections and discover identity in loving God, others and yourself.
Anja Doornbos-Vissers is an apprentice of Jesus, wife, mother, farmer and friend. The first forty years of her life, she lived in the Netherlands working as an organizational development consultant, outdoor life coach, and scientific researcher. She moved in 2016 to Oregon and is since then happily growing Belgian endives with her husband.
Tim Vissers is a believer in Jesus, son, brother, friend, Lego fan, soccer player (defense, if you want to know), and gamer. Practicing the activities in this book and helping his mom write it was a very fun experience. He hopes that other nine-year-olds will have as much fun with the activities as he did. His favorite activities are 10 and 16.
