Dimensions

This is a collection of 100 verses, with 25 in each of four dimensions: Cosmic Dust, Faith of our Mothers, Hawai'i Always Within, and Unfailing Prize.

Memories of being young in Hawai'i mesh with a recent family vacation to O'ahu. Thinking about Sputnik and space travel at age 10 expands to visions of humanity's future on Earth. Reflections on faith journeys, rooted in Church and faith of our mothers, connect to faith, always new and always young. The unfailing prize of wife, marriage, family and human life is our strength and guide, to confront worldly troubles with hope.

The author was raised and educated in Hawai'i, and has lived in California for 50 years. Most importantly, his high school years and college years were spent in the 1960's, a decade of war and peace, faith and religion, human rights, environmental consciousness, and love. Married in 1968, the author and wife have 6 children and 5 grandchildren. Recently retired, the author has more time to reflect on creation, life, faith and eternity.
