Lynette McCombs sought direction and strength from the Lord when she began a new journey as a widow. As she wrote down years of memories scuba diving with her husband, she began to see how the Lord taught her valuable lessons through her past experiences and how many of those lessons applied to her current season. Author Lynette McCombs is an experienced scuba diver who loves beachcombing, swimming, and photography. She also enjoys shell and jewelry crafts, competitive shooting, reading, and writing. She serves on the women's ministry team, leads women's Bible studies, and is facilitator for an outreach ministry to widows. She lives in Northeast Florida. Illustrator Lilly Marie is a high school junior enrolled in advanced placement college prep courses. She loves playing the violin, sketching, painting, chemistry, video games, and spending time with friends. She lives with her family in Florida.
