When wokeness reigns what happens? During tumultuous 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas, wokeism reigns, but a not-so-silent battle rages in the minds of people who do not share the same religious, political, or legal viewpoints. Can true friendship and love help repair the corruption all around them? Let Wokeness Be the Order of the Day by Paul L. Gibson follows three young and ambitious youths: an Arkansian aspiring to become a lawyer, a Mixed (Black and White) Ohioan who just wants to survive, and a Mixed Philadelphian Latina who dreams of working in the justice system, who all are simply trying to navigate their own unique journeys in life. Their struggle between overcoming constant hurdles and trying to achieve their dreams in a world against them seems never-ending, but the truth always shines forth. Told through a conservative lens, this novel explores what life is like for the Conservative Republican minority and challenges the belief that the Democratic Party is the more accepting and peaceful of the two. Furthermore, told through the racially mixed conservative lens, this novel details the realities of a mixed-race (Black and White) conservative's struggle in today's woke world, exposing liberal minority intolerance for what it is. Infused with politics, history, social issues, law, emotion, and a bit of humor, there are few issues left unexamined in this thrilling and eye-opening social commentary. Paul L. Gibson was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, in 1996 and was raised in Akron, Ohio, until the age of eighteen. After witnessing firsthand, the violence and chaos of the George Floyd BLM and Antifa riots at the Arkansas Capitol in Little Rock across from the government building where he worked, Paul realized the destructive nature of these "peaceful protests" and that it must be revealed, along with his lifetime of struggles against the woke Left, especially minority Leftists. As someone who is proud of his Mixed (Black and White) heritage, he hopes his book will highlight the struggles and persecution of minority Republicans, the Left's intolerant and deceitful nature, vindicate the current day South, and give voice to the Mixed and minority conservatives of America.
