Those of you who read Scenes In The Journey Of Life already know that I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1976, and that I began writing poetry not long after that, as a way to process my thoughts and feelings, to sort through the changes happening in my life. I have continued to write over the years, inspired by my desire to document my continued walk with the Lord. My poems are basically a journal that rhymes. I believe that the Lord has asked me to share these poems with you as well. I hope you find this book encouraging and inspirational as we all try to be obedient to God's will in our lives. Joyce Amelia Marshall was born and raised in Ava, New York. She moved to Massachusetts in 1973 and has lived in the state since then. She has been a registered nurse since 1982. As The Lord Leads is her second book of poetry, continuing on where Scenes In The Journey Of Life left off. They both represent the author's spiritual transformation and walk with the Lord.
