He has caused deforestation and burnt the vegetation, exploded bombs, destroyed structures which he and others have built, killed the birds of the air and the sh of the sea. He has helped to decrease the animal population of the earth for the purpose of eating it, or owning its horns, or its skin and its teeth, He has poisoned the air and the lakes. He has slaughtered his brothers. The scars may be seen almost everywhere. There are also wounds where they cannot be seen, as in the minds of man.
