Coach Sams seemed to always be busy with his volleyball team, either coaching or recruiting. Now there were a few others that he would need to cultivate if his team was to win the NCAA National Championship this coming season.
With new assistant coaches to teach his system to and six new recruits to train, Jim felt like there was never enough time. Fortunately, his Athletic Director and others in important offices, did all they could to support him and the Cascade University volleyball program.
Jim liked living in the small town of Dallas, Oregon even if they had to travel far and wide to play other teams. Unfortunately, a number of Columbian thugs must have enjoyed the town as well. For some unknown reason they were constantly trying to eliminate Coach Sams.
Having his house burnt to the ground, while he was away on a volleyball trip, got Jim thinking about the safety of his daughters and Liz. He tried his best to work with the local police, but learned quickly that they were almost as bad as the thugs. He decided that the FBI was the only ones he should be talking to.
The local FBI, based in Portland, Oregon was who Jim worked with first, before he and Liz met in Salt Lake City with the Director of the FBI for that area. He was a no-nonsense man that came quickly to the point. He'd selected Jim to be the one that would capture Lester for the second time, before a major effort would be made to rid that part of our country of Columbian thugs.
