A Story About True Friendship and True Love.
Stella is a young, beautiful Nuyorican from Brooklyn. She copes with the devastating break up with Ray Garcia as he leaves for LA to follow his dream of becoming a voice actor. Mustering up the courage to finally date again 2 years later, Stella is the victim of sexual assault which only her best friend, Kayla Smith, can get her through.
A couple of years after Stella's incident, she and Kayla take a girl's trip to San Diego for Comic Con. A much-needed reprieve from everyday life and the nightmares which still haunt Stella. On the first day of the show, Stella runs into Ray, and they are immediately drawn back to each other. This leads to a fiery romantic reunion for not only Ray and Stella, but also for their best friends Sebastian and Kayla. With an R&B heavy music playlist always playing in the background and tequila shots to go around, the two couples embark on a whirlwind weekend of reminiscing and declarations.
After the convention, Stella and Kay return to Brooklyn and Ray and Sebastian return to LA to resume everyday life.
But that is not the end for either couple. There is so much more life, drama, and joy in store for them all.
Stella & Ray: A Nuyorican Love Story draws readers in with the very first word, making them feel as though they are a part of the story. Adults age 18+ who love music, love, and friendship will not be able to put this captivating story down.
