Police Sergeant, David Boyer is seriously wounded chasing a subject in an armed robbery. While in surgery, David experiences a brief time in Heaven, walking and talking with an angel named Josiah. Josiah tells David he has been given a greater purpose to remember his time and their conversations together.

David recovers, inspired now to write the story of his experiences, just as Josiah had said. Collectively David's wife and three daughters become strong supporters of the book that is being created. Lives are changed and blessed as a result of the story that is told.
