It's Christmas Eve and Teddy Bear is sadly still sitting on the shelf; he wants to be a Christmas Present, but no one bought him. He falls off the shelf onto a wooden rocking horse, a lay away of the salesclerk, Penny. Everyone laughs pushing the horse giving the bear a ride. The horse, Alabama feels special because his name is carved on his belly "Made in Alabama". When the Penny picks up Alabama, she takes Bear along throwing him in the back seat where he can see Christmas out the window standing on his tippy toes as they drive. Penny struggles to carry Alabama inside, decorates her tree and forgets about the bear. Teddy watches from the car and tries to be happy that at least he saw Christmas, his eyes get wet, his nose shiny, and his smile down on one corner when he tried to smile. Next morning the horse that's a present for Penny's Godchild Lacey doesn't look right. She remembers the bear riding him, looks everywhere finally remembers and rushes out to the car grabs him like a football running and plops him on the horse just as Lacey arrives and see the bear. "Is Teddy Bear, my present and the Rocking Horse?" They whisper together and she announces that he loves her and wants to take her for a ride on Alabama." Teddy is so thrilled because if she understands what he says that means she loves him. He was never the forgotten bear again.
