Amazing stories in the Bible inspire us like Daniel leaving a den of starving lions1, unharmed after a few days or Joshua and the tribes crossing of the raging Jordan before any signs of parting2. I am a double minority raised by a determined single parent and a village in the inner city of Los Angeles in the 90s.
