Bathsheba, Michal, and Maacah, Tamar, Amnon and Absalom. Conflict arises with the family of Ziba, the man who told David that Mephibosheth was still alive and living in Lodebar. The story has elements of romance, family dynamics, conflict, and faith in God. Animal lovers may enjoy this book as well.
